[Video] The Inside Scoop on “How to Start a Business You Love AND That Loves You Back”

Over the years, I’ve seen way too many entrepreneurs build businesses they didn’t love (nor did those businesses love them back). I began to see how important it is to know how to start a business you love. (After all, this isn’t information that’s taught in any business school.)

And what better way to share that wisdom than in a book. Of course, it made perfect sense to have a book like that in the “Love-Based Business” book series. I envisioned a book that was more foundational in nature — that could help you build a business you love right from the start OR transform the business you have into one you love.

And that is how the book “How to Start a Business You Love AND that Loves You Back: Get Clear On Your Purpose and Passion to Build a Successful, Profitable Business” was born.

Watch now:

I’m thrilled to pieces with how this little gem turned out — it’s like no other business-building book out there, and what it covers is soooooo needed.

It’s designed to give you all the tools you need to start a business you love and that loves you back, and to help you avoid making mistakes common to the entrepreneur and business owner.

It’s also designed to help those of you have a business, but have maybe “lost that lovin’ feeling.”

As my good friend Andrea J. Lee says, too many entrepreneurs spend years getting their ducks in a row, only to wake up one day and realize those aren’t their ducks. (In other words, they spend years building the wrong business for them.) This book can help you find the perfect ducks for you.

And the best part? It’s free! (And yes, it’s quite all right if you want to go grab your copy right now.)

What Does It Mean to Have a Love-Based Business?

What Does It Mean to Have a Love-Based Business?

When I say “love-based business,” I’m not talking about a business based on dating or relationships or (ahem) something else. What I’m referring to is a biz you’ve built on a foundation of love-based emotions, versus a foundation of fear-based emotions. (There are two categories of emotions, love and fear, and all emotions fit under one of those categories.)love-based-free

Having a love-based biz means you have a business you love, and that loves you back. So, what does that mean?

Okay, let’s start with what it means to have a biz you love. At the very least, you should enjoy working in it. You don’t necessarily need to be passionate about everything you do or love it every second (which isn’t terribly realistic), but the idea of jumping out of bed and getting to work should feel closer to joy than dread.

It also helps if your biz is aligned with your life goals — in other words, if you’re inspired to make a difference in the world, you would likely feel more excited about your business if it too was designed to make a difference in the world.

And, when you have a business that loves you back, that’s when your business not only financially supports the lifestyle you desire, but it also allows you the time and freedom to live that lifestyle.

I also believe that having a business you love and that loves you back is open to you regardless if you’re just starting out, or if you’ve had it for years. In other words, if you feel like you’ve “lost that loving feeling” with your biz, you absolutely can get it back.

If you want to know more, I wrote a free book, “How to Start a Business You Love AND That Loves You Back.” Here’s where you can grab your copy.
